According to data from the China Motorcycle Chamber of Commerce, the production and sales of motorcycles in China exceeded 20 

million in 2021, setting a record high since 2015.

From January to December, the entire industry completed the production and sales of 20.1952 million and 20.1948 million motorcycles. 

Among them, the production and sales of two-wheeled motorcycles were 17.8475 million and 17.8547 million; the production and sales of three-wheeled motorcycles were 2.3477 million and 2.3401 million. The production and sales of fuel motorcycles were 16.2363 million and 16.252 million; the production and sales of electric motorcycles were 3.9589 million and 3.9428 million.

From January to December, 9,090,900 and 9,097,400 street bikes were produced and sold; 6,471,000 and 6,478,400 scooters were 

produced and sold; and 2,278,500 and 22,277,000 CUB vehicles were produced and sold. From the perspective of the proportion of sales of various models to the total sales of two-wheeler, the three types of street bikes, scooters and CUB models accounted for 50.95%, 36.28% 

and 12.75% respectively.

From January to December, motorcycle manufacturers exported 8.9746 million vehicles and 1.3113 million motorcycle engines. 445,300 

ATVs were exported.

From January to December, the top five series in terms of export volume were: 125 series, 150 series, 110 series, 250 series and 50 series, 

with exports of 3,003,400 vehicles, 2,296,700 vehicles, 1,415,300 vehicles, 873,400 vehicles and 478,200 vehicles. From January to 

December, a total of 8.067 million units of the above five series were exported, accounting for 94.78% of the total export of motorcycles. 

Three-wheeled motorcycles exported 463,000 units.
